Summer 2016 Movies on the Potomac at National Harbor

Film fans who love the outdoors are in for a treat in the DC region this summer: Movies on the Potomac is back! Through September you can enjoy a variety of action, romance and comedy movies displayed on a massive projector on the lawn at the National Harbor.

Movies are shown free of charge on Sundays and Thursdays at 6 PM and 7 PM, respectively. You can bring a blanket and lawn chair; outside food and beverages are not allowed, but Peeps & Company will be on-site selling Mike and Ike, Hot Tamales, and Peanut Chews candy.

Here are just a few great movies showing at the National Harbor this summer:

  • Hook – Sunday, August 21 at 6:00 PM
  • Zoolander – Thursday, August 18 at 7:00 PM
  • Casino Royale – Thursday, September 1 at 7:00 PM
  • Men in Black – Thursday, September 8 at 7:00 PM
  • Zootopia – Sunday, September 18 at 6:00 PM

 

On August 25 and September 25, the movies showing will be selected by an online poll. Keep an eye on the National Harbor’s social media accounts to vote, and for any updates about cancellations or changes.
