DC Beer Festival 2016

For beer lovers, spring is a great time of year! Many breweries release seasonal varietals that show off their creativity and celebrate the coming of warm weather. In the D.C. area, one of the beer highlights of spring is the DC Beer Festival held at Nationals Park. This year’s festival will be held Saturday, April 16 in two sessions: one from 12 PM to 3 PM and one from 5 PM to 8 PM.

Breweries at the 2016 DC Beer Festival

The main attraction of the festival is of course the beer! Over 80 breweries from all over the nation will be in attendance offering samples of their finest beers, including:

  • Port City Brewing Company (Alexandria, VA)
  • Laughing Dog Brewing (Sandpoint, ID)
  • Bold Rock (Nellysford, VA)
  • Ballast Point (San Diego, CA)
  • Goose Island (Chicago, IL)
  • Great Lakes (Cleveland, OH)
  • Heavy Seas (Baltimore, MD)
  • Brooklyn Brewery (New York, NY)
  • Starr Hill (Charlottesville, VA)

 

All beer samples are unlimited during a 3-hour session with purchase of your $40 ticket.

Other Attractions at the 2016 DC Beer Festival

Besides the huge variety of beers available, the festival will also include lawn games, DJs, and food trucks. A few of the food truck companies that participated last year were DC Slices, Bada Bing, Tasty Kabob, and Red Hook Lobster.
