Uncork and Unwind at the National Harbor Food and Wine Festival

Each year, National Harbor publishes a year round line-up of spectacular events, and our favorite one is just around the corner! On May 2nd and 3rd, world-renowned chefs, culinary pioneers, DC Foodies, and winemakers alike are coming together to bring you the 2015 National Harbor Wine and Food Festival. You’ll enjoy 2 delicious days of unlimited wine tastings, food samples from DC’s trendiest restaurants, an on-site wine shop to purchase your favorite flavors, and of course a souvenir glass to commemorate your trip.

Don’t let the title fool you though, this year’s event features much more than just wine. Guests can find themselves meandering the “Bier Garten” tasting a variety of craft brews or heading to a book signing or meet & greet with the chef. Ladies, while your significant other is lounging with a cigar at the bourbon bar, you’ll enjoy hands-on cooking classes or wine and food pairings that will wow your next dinner guests.

You’ll need a nearby place to crash during your two days of wining and dining, and The Alexandria Holiday Inn Express is located just five miles from the National Harbor. Grab a bite off our complimentary Express Start Breakfast menu before beginning each fun-filled day. Effortless access to the Harbor from the hotel leaves more time for fun in the DC area.

According the US News and World Report, spring has been rated the best season to visit the DC area! The National Harbor Wine and Food Festival is the perfect excuse to book your trip to DC now!
