A National Harbor holiday classic is back at the Gaylord with ICE! featuring Frosty the Snowman.  Kept at a chilly 9 degrees, the walk-through holiday wonderland features two million pounds of hand-carved ice sculptures, four ice slides, six individual rooms depicting the Frosty the Snowman story and The Frostbite Factory, a live carving zone.  Family and friends will enjoy exploring and plyaing in this frigid wonderland open through January 4th.

Chicago Blackhawks and Capitals set for 2015 NHL Winter Classic

The Captials, firmly in the playoff mix in the NHL’s Eastern Conference, also boast one of the league’s best in 3-time league-MVP Alexander Ovechkin. The two titans of the game will go head-to-head in what will be the second appearance for both squads in a Winter Classic.

Nationals Park, which will be hosting the spectacle on New Year’s Day for the first time, joins a list of impressive venues that have previously hosted the event including Chicago’s Wrigley Field, Boston’s Fenway Park, and Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park.
